SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (S.C.M) / VENDOR DEVELOPER –
EXECUTIVE (Mumbai)
Job Profile:
- Set up recommended suppliers for use in product
manufacture.
- Play a key role in indianisation of major components.
- Create or modify the part specifications that define
the company’s requirements and permit procurement from
multiple suppliers, following interchangeability
guidelines
- Ensure that data created and maintained in the
materials database continues to meet engineering,
manufacturing, and procurement needs.
- Improve material specifications consistency,
timeliness, quality, and usability across assigned
subset of commodities
Candidate profile
- Knowledge of basic engineering concepts.
- Able to interpret technical data sheets/drawings.
- Desirable a Bachelors degree in Mechanical /
Electrical / Electronics engineering.
- Strong written, verbal, negotiating, and communication
skills
- Ability to interact with remotely located business
partners.
- Proficient in usage of office productivity tools like
MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Experience
3 to 4 years of “hands on experience”, and
conceptual understanding of supply chain functioning /
vendor development.
