Job Description
Installing & configuring computer hardware operating system & application
Monitoring & maintaining computer system & network
Troubleshooting system & network problem & diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults, repairing parts as required
Providing support, including procedural documentation
Setting up new users accounts & profiles & dealing with password issues
Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
Testing & evaluating new technologies
Dolby optical transfer

Networking
Assist in planning & implementation of additions, deletions & major modifications to the supporting regional infrastructure
Implement network security at the regional level as established by corporate security director

Training & lab maintenance
Oversees the administration & maintenance of computer stations & software for company training programs & provides additional support if necessary

Internal system
Oversees troubleshooting systems backups, arching & disaster recovery & provides expert support when necessary
Works with project teams to help implement internal systems

Help desk administration
Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT – related issues & provides answers in timely manner
Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly

Client management
Anticipates internal clients needs & proposes alternative solutions
Continually seeks & capitalizes upon opportunities to increase internal client satisfaction & develop client relationship

Technical Skills
Knowledge of servers
Knowledge in networking
Knowledge in active directory
Knowledge of WAN
Knowledge of SQL / Structural

Academic Qualification

Any IT Graduate / MCSE (Microsoft certified service engineer)
